FLUXATIONS 2017 – flows and currents in the city is an event concentrating on media art in the Turku Main Library 15. – 26.3.2017.

The works for the event were curated by the media artist Jaakko Pesonen. The call for artworks was open for artists from or working in Finland.

The selected artworks are Saara Ekström‘s A Rose is Sorrows, Heidi Kilpeläinen‘s Tango Therapy, Jussi Matilainen‘s Tap-Mapping, Salla Myllylä‘s Midsummer night and Elsa Trzaska‘s Extinct.

The Opening is on Wednesday 15 March at 6 pm. Welcome!

Turku Artists’ Association and VAFT are organizing Fluxations 2017 feat. VAFT – Screening & Artist Talk event together. The event will be held at the Turku City Library on the 23rd of March 2017 at 6 pm. Free admission. Welcome!

FLUXATIONS 2017 – flows and currents in the city is the sixth event of environmental art situated by the river Aura and coordinated by Turku Artists’ Association. The first Flux Aura -event was organized in the summer 1996.
