Slow Art Day at the Gallery Å

Gallery Å is participating Slow Art Day in April. One day each year – April 8 in 2017 – people all over the world visit local museums and galleries to look at art slowly. Participants look at five works of art for 10 minutes each and then talk about their experience. The goal is to focus on the art and the art of seeing.

On Saturday 8th April at 2 pm. people are invited to look slowly Salka Ritva Karela’s and Sallamari Rantala‘s art works. After watching the art pieces there will be an informal discussion. The discussion will be in Finnish.
